Instructions for group boat rides

Each "Plätte" offers space for 53 people.

Cancellation policy
The minimum price must be charged for Plätte boats for group trips that are cancelled less than two weeks before departure.
When it rains, the "Plätte" is covered with a tarpaulin. No compensation will be provided for losses due to high or low water levels.
If the Salzach has high or low water, the boat ride is not possible. No compensation can be claimed for failures due to the water level.   

Delays
The Burghauser Touristik or the Plätten driver must be informed in good time of any delays. In the case of a delay, the booked boat trip can no longer be carried out or not in full.>
If the client does not show up or does not take place due to a delay, the minimum flat rate will be charged.

Cancellation policy
You can cancel your participation free of charge up to 2 days in advance. Please also let us know the actual number of participants. If you do not show up or if you cancel too late, the following cancellation fee will be charged: € 10,- for adults and € 5,- for discounted tickets.

If the Salzach has high or low water, the boat trip cannot be carried out. No compensation will be provided for losses due to high or low water levels.If the boat trip fails for this reason, you will be notified by email or SMS.

Parking
There is a free parking area for cars in the old town of Burghausen. Please note the respective parking time. Long-term parking spaces are available in the underground car park (three rows) and in the Zaglau.
A Park & ​​Ride car park is available at the train station.

From Burghausen you can use the public bus to get to the departure point in Tittmoning. 
The public bus leaves at 1:05 pm from the stop on the town square in the old town in Burghausen and at 1:10 pm from the train station in Burghausen.

  • There are no catering facilities on the Plätte boat; however, passengers can take food and drinks on the Plätte boat.

  • It is only possible to take prams with you to a limited extent.

  • Unfortunately, it is not permitted to take bicycles on the "Plätte".

  • The place is not wheelchair accessible.

  • Corona - information:
    Due to the corona pandemic, it is currently mandatory to wear a mask during the entire boat ride.
    Prior registration is required for group trips and public trips.
